I just got this vase for next to nothing. My Maximilian Sunflowers are in full bloom at the moment so I thought I'd put the vase to use. Not a bad combo!
Yesterday I made a trek out to the Tyler Rose Garden with the Rainbow Garden Club of North Texas. Not only do they have 38,000 rose bushes, but they also have quite a nice display of annuals and perennials. It was a nice day that inspired me to get back to work in my garden. This first rose is Artistry, the second is Distant Drums, Eglantyne is next, and lastly Gertrude Jekyll.
I looked outside tonight and saw that my Stapelia had finally bloomed. I've waited two years! I have to say it does have a creepy factor but ultimately it's somewhere between cool and beautiful!
Here is another corner of my patio. I have a mix of succulents nestled in this part of my patio that hopefully make good neighbors . If I could squeeze more in, I probably would!
