I acquired these Petunias last fall from a plant swap.  I planted them in pots around my conversation garden and then abandoned them all through the winter.  They remained semi-dormant until the days got longer and the temps got warmer, then they popped out with all these beautiful colors.  Sometimes the old garden favorites are still the best.

What a grand display! Yes, we tend to forget old favorites and dismiss them as 'common.' They are common because they work. Planted en mass they transform a space into something uncommon.
