TYLER ROSE GARDEN

Yesterday I made a trek out to the Tyler Rose Garden with the Rainbow Garden Club of North Texas.  Not only do they have 38,000 rose bushes, but they also have quite a nice display of annuals and perennials.  It was a nice day that inspired me to get back to work in my garden. This first rose is Artistry, the second is Distant Drums, Eglantyne is next, and lastly Gertrude Jekyll.

And with this posting, we've reached the end of our tour.  I hope you have enjoyed the images as much as I have enjoyed sharing them.  For those of you in the Dallas area,  I'm assuming I haven't ruined your trip by posting these photographs.  If you make it out, you will see  that the images pale in comparison to the actual pieces.  For those of you out of the area, my desire is that I'm giving an  accurate view of how spectacular the Chihuly and Arboretum union is.   

I've tried not to critique or comment on each piece, leaving that to you.  If I had to pick a favorite piece, it would be most difficult.  Each turn in the garden, held a new and unexpected revelation.  I will most definitely be returning to see 'Chihuly at Night.'  Can you imagine these pieces illuminated in the dark!  Don't be surprised if I post a picture or two.
