Dale Chihuly at the Dallas Arboretum pt. I

Last week I made it over to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens to see the Dale Chihuly glass sculptures on display.  Each and every piece was a visual delight.  They had to kick me out screaming and shouting, at closing time.  I took so many photos that I've decided to share them in parts.  This is part one, and there's lots more to come.

Oh my! that Chihuly glass is SO beautiful. And in a beautiful garden with flower and water, it's just incredible. I'm jealous you got to see it. Hmmm, I think it's there through November if I'm not mistaken? I might just have to make a drive up there! Thanks for sharing, your photos are lovely!

Wonderful. I love the clear glass plates emerging from the water and the green conical numbers. I've seen Chihuly in London several times and a few times in Las Vegas but nothing as nice as those pieces. I always wish they incorporated them into grand fountains.
